Producing beats and vocals for various sync projects, artists, and songwriters. Focus is on creating tasteful vocals and lo-fi hip-hop beats to support for your musical and artistic visions.
Joan Meyer, Singer (Elevator Pitch)
Joan’s vocals sound similar to those heard from Margo Timmins of the alternative country and folk rock band the Cowboy Junkies, especially in the song Sweet Jane by the Velvet Underground. Joan has an under-stated, laid-back but sophisticated sound — airy as if to reach for the heavens yet grounded in the soil of the earth.
Joan Meyer, Beatmaker (Elevator Pitch)
Joan’s beats are best described as lo-fi hip hop best for listening to when studying and relaxing. They are made in the frequency of 432, the healing frequency of the universe. The beats are chill, calming, retro, yet modern in sound choice and vibe. The sparse and repetitive motifs give space for dialog in TV, Film and Ads.
